Obituary for Barbara Omond

Barbara Omond, 79, of The Briarlea, and formerly of Langford St., Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, October 7, 2019. Born in Dalhousie, NS, she was the daughter of the late Elvin and Margaret (Ramsey) Medicraft.

Barbara was a former Registered Nurse and Lab Technician.

Barbara will be sadly missed by her husband, Fergus Omond; daughter, Shelley Giffin (Steven) of Halifax, NS and son, Richard Omond (Linda) of Moncton; four grandchildren, Justin, Sarah, Samantha and Kasee; as well as three sisters and four brothers.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Frances.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Arrangements entrusted to Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995).

In memory of Barbara, donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Online condolences for the family may be shared on Fergusons Funeral Home Facebook page or at www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
