Obituary for Eugenie Deyoung

1918 – 2019
Eugenie Deyoung, 101, of Residence Bellevue, Dieppe, passed away on Monday, October 14th, 2019, at the Dr. Georges–L.–Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.Born in Cormier’s Cove, NB, she was the daughter of the late Albenie and the late Modeste (née: Cormier) Gautreau.

Mrs. Deyoung enjoyed playing cards and quilting. She was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and Sainte–Thérèse parish.

She is survived by one daughter, Jean Ann (Hubert) Bourque of Dieppe; one son, Donald (Thérèse) of Sainte–Marie–de–Kent, daughter-in-law Anne; 6 grandchildren: Shelley, Shawn, Steven, Jason, Luc and Kelly; several great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; one son, Gary; one grandson, Daniel; four sisters: Yvonne (Sam), Marguerite (Dolphy), Zélica (Raymond) and Célina (John) and also by three brothers: Yvon, Albert (Ida) and Alfred (Jean).

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857–1901) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm only.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Sainte–Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 at 11 am.Interment in Notre–Dame–du–Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
