Obituary for Marguerite Paulin

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marguerite (Cormier) Paulin, wife of the late Sylvio Paulin, announce her passing, which occurred on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at her home in Tucker Hall, Shannex Parkland, in Saint John. Born June 18, 1927 in Caraquet, NB, she was a daughter of the late Edmond and Delima (Travers) Cormier.

Marguerite dedicated her life to the caring of her children and home. She always looked forward to family gatherings and loved all the time spent with her precious grandchildren.

Marguerite is survived by her five children: George (Ruth Stanley), Robert (Lynn), Norma Kitchen (Gary), Glenda Barrett (Daniel), and Paul (Helène Landry); grandchildren: Christina, Margaret, Heather, Lily, and Katy; great-grandchildren: Dawson and Ethan, and Lila and Blake; brother, Gerard; sisters: Patricia, Rose-Marie (Jules), and Yvette (Johnny); and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Edmonde.

The family would like to offer their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of Tucker Hall, Shannex Parkland, for their wonderful care and compassion of their mother.

Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service which be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 9:30 am at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery later that day at 2:00 pm.
