Obituary for Barbara Moore

It is with sadness that the family announce the passing of Barbara Patricia (Wood) Moore on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Born on February 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Lena Wood.

Barb loved being outside in her garden enjoying the flowers and spending time with her beloved pets over the years. If not in her garden, she could be found cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs, being a dedicated fan. She was a devoted employee at Zellers, working at both the stores downtown and uptown until she retired after more than 40 years’ service.

Barb will be missed by her son, Jason Moore; her brothers Lebaron (Sandra) Wood and Glendon Wood; her sister Edith (Stephen) Porter; her sisters–in–law Eva Warmin, Patricia Dee and Charon Stennick as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be no visitation at the family's request. A private committal service will take place for the family at the Rusagonis Baptist Cemetery.

Donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated for those who wish. Online condolences may be made at www.oromoctofh.com.
