Obituary for Celina Landry

1948 - 2019
Celina Landry, 70, of Shediac and formerly of Saint-Philippe, passed away on Thursday, October 17th, 2019 at her residence. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Levi and the late Dora (née: Gallant) Bastarache.

Mrs. Landry had worked at Villa du Repos as an RNA and in her later years provided home care for her mother and uncle. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards and marbles. She was a former member of Saint-Philippe parish.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Albert; one daughter, Patricia (Paul) Jaillet of Irishtown; one granddaughter, Samantha (Kyle); one great grandson, Zachary; one sister, Marie Desroches of Moncton; one brother, Fred (Obeline) of Saint-Philippe, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one granddaughter, Jessica Lynn and also by one brother.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Thursday, October 24th, 2019 from 7 to 9 pm only. A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 25th, 2019 at 10:30 am, reception at the Club d’Age d’Or in Saint-Philippe will follow. Interment in Saint-Philippe Parish Cemetery.
