Obituary for Lorraine Gertrude Gray

With heavy hearts, the family of Lorraine Gray announces her passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on October 22, 2019. Lorraine was born in Saint John on January 2, 1936; a daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys (McCluskey) Beckwith, and the loving wife of the late Fred Gray.

Lorraine was a fun, happy, and easy going person, and she enjoyed cake decorating, and knitting.

Surviving are her daughters, Cathy (George) Floyd of Quispamsis, Wendy Gray of Nova Scotia, grandchildren Devon Floyd, Justin Floyd, and Blair (Lucas Gilbert) Venoit, great–granddaughter Violet Gilbert, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lorraine was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In keeping with Lorraine’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

For those who wish, remembrances to the Alzheimer’s Society, Canadian Cancer Society, or the ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated.

Arrangements under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646–2424). Online condolences may be placed at www.fundyfuneralhome.com
