Obituary for Marchell Locke

Mrs. Marshell Justina (Reppert) Locke, 95 of Castalia, Grand Manan, NB, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Grand Manan Hospital, with her loving daughter by her side.

Marshell was born in West Hamburg, Pennsylvania, the youngest daughter of Milton and Katie (Rothermel) Reppert, where she grew up in a large blended family of twenty three children. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Marshell was the Head Housekeeper for at the Grand Manan Hospital until her retirement.

Marshell is survived by her daughter Ravona Green, of Woodward’s Cove, her son John Locke (Lorraine) of Miramichi, NB; three grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandsons, also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marshell is pre-deceased by her parents, her husband Frank Locke; her grandson Derek Warren Locke, and her great granddaughter Renee Green.

There will be visitation on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Ells Funeral Home from 2 – 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from The North Head Baptist Church at 1:00 PM with Rev. David Phillips Officiating to follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

For those who wish, a donation in Marshell’s memory can be made to The Charlotte County Cancer Society, Action Ministry or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Ells Funeral Home Inc., 1199 Route 776, Grand Manan, NB E5G 1G2. Condolences, messages of sympathy may also be sent to www.ells.ca or (506)662-3116.
