Obituary for B. Wayne Plume

The passing of B. Wayne Plume of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Sylvia Plume occurred on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Born on March 16, 1938 in Tay Falls, NB, he was the son of the late Byron and Glenna (Jones) Plume. Wayne was a fixture on Main Street as Owner/Operator of Plume’s Garage for over forty years. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and playing hockey. Wayne spent many years as a volunteer Firefighter.

Wayne is survived by his daughters, Jill Woodley (Dan), Sherri Plume (Ken Ward) and Holly Plume (Derrick); son, Jeff Plume (Eiron); grandchildren, Robin Gorham, Dawson Gorham, Steven Plume and Byron Plume; sisters in law, Marilyn Plume and Susan Plume; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Forrest “Woody” Plume and Donald Plume.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 2-4 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
