Obituary for Tyler Deryck Davenport

With broken hearts, the family of Tyler Deryck Davenport announce his unexpected passing on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his home. Born in Saint John on March 16, 1992, he was the son of Karen (Waddell) and Deryck Davenport of Rothesay.

Tyler was co–owner/operator of an asphalt and concrete business in Alberta before moving back home to Rothesay. Tyler will be remembered for his passion for the outdoors, and always spoke fondly of his time living on an Alberta horse ranch. Tyler was extremely innovative and enjoyed the art of painting as well as working on vehicles. Since a child he has always followed his heart, fearlessly going wherever it took him. His laugh–at–life humour always reminded others to enjoy the little things in life. Above all, Tyler will be remembered for his big heart, his selfless nature, and his natural ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him.

In addition to his loving parents, Tyler is survived by his sister, Courteney Davenport (Patryk Kitrys); paternal grandparents, Alton and Joyce Davenport; maternal grandparents, Larry and Barb Waddell; aunts and uncles: Susan McLean (Keith), Janice Nice (Rob), and Steven Davenport (Kimberly); his best friend, Stephen McIntosh; and several great–aunts, great–uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his best friend and business partner, Chris Arnot.

Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849–2119). Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 10 am to 12 pm, with the funeral service beginning at 12 pm in the funeral home chapel.

For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.KennebecasisFH.com.
