Obituary for Faye Hanson

The passing of Faye Alta (Steeves) Hanson of Fredericton occurred on Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was 82, born in Moncton, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary (Mills) Steeves.

Faye was a dedicated stay at home mother, an executive secretary at the Department of Education, a lifelong Christian, a great student of history, a prolific crocheter and the best friend anybody ever had.

Faye is survived by her two sons; Lloyd and Lorne (Maggie), a sister Frances and a brother Ralph (Ginny).

She was predeceased by her husband Aubrey Hanson and a brother Lloyd Steeves (Betty).

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 4th, 2019 at 1 PM from Bishop’s Funeral Home with a tea and coffee to follow. This open social time will replace normal visitation. A private burial ceremony will be held at a later date in Sunny Bank Cemetery. Online condolences and the sharing of memories may express through www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
