Obituary for Mike Bacon

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lorne Michael “Mike” Bacon announces his passing that occurred on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Bobby's Hospice. Born on Nov 27, 1962 in Saint John he was the son of Marie (John) Caley and the late Doug (Betty) Bacon.

Mike was employed with Alternative Concrete Technologies for over 20 years, most recently as a Construction Foreman. He took pleasure in hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling and spending time in his garage enjoying an Alpine with friends.

In addition to his mother and step-mother, he is survived by his loving wife of almost 31 years, Kathy (McLaughlin) Bacon; daughters Katilyn Bacon (Nathan) and Krista Robichaud (Colin); special daughter of choice, Kelsey Bowes; grandchildren Dylan and Ethan Robichaud; siblings Chuck, Brian, Diane and Trent; sisters-in-law Iris and Paulette; several nieces and nephews; his canine companion Ted and fur baby grandchildren Georgia and Helga.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by his sister Tina-Marie and in-laws Andrew and Nellie (Guthrie) McLaughlin.

Following cremation, visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 2 to 8 p.m. A Celebration of His Life will be held in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2 p.m.
