Obituary for Gerald Sarchfield

”I Did It My Way”
The family of Gerald Clinton Sarchfield are saddened to announce his passing at his home in Cambridge Narrows, NB on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the age of 83.

Gerald was born in Cold Stream, NB on March 28, 1936 son of the late Patrick and Eileen (Weston) Sarchfield.

He is survived by his companion, Sandra Thomas; sons, Darrel (Connie) and Calvin (Frances); daughters, Joyce Brown, Sue (Terry) Bishop and Sherry (Scott) Harrington; brother, Donald; sister, Elizabeth Lunnie; grandchildren, Logan (Meagan) Sarchfield, Bradley (Stephanie) Sarchfield, Caleigh Sarchfield, Brooke (Brent) Roi, Makenzie Brown, Spencer (Katie) Brown, Alex Harrington and Tara (Yves) Leger; great-grandchildren, Rowan Brown, Arlo Sarchfield, Sawyer Sarchfield, Brielle Leger, Chloe Viel and Eva Roi; many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Gerald was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Cox) Sarchfield; son, Delbert; brothers, Garvin, Ercell, Pat, Kilburn, Stanley and Raymond; sisters, Patrica McKenzie, Marguerite Boyd and Mabel Donnley.

Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers and for those who wish to do so donations to St. Lukes Anglican Church (6689, Route 105, Youngs Cove, NB E4C 2C2) or the Extra Mural Program (20 Kennedy Drive, Sussex NB E4E 2P1) would be greatly appreciated by his family
