Obituary for Margaret Wood

The funeral of Margaret Jean Wood was held at the First United Church in Campbellton with Derrick Carnahan officiating. Thank you to all who participated - Margaret Clevette, organist and soloist, the community choir, and the pallbearers : Burton Alexander, Allan Alexander, Don Irvine, Allan Forester, Dale Forester, and Eldon Target.

Jean will be missed by her children, James of Escuminac, Allan(Charline) and Ruth of Campbellton and her step-daughter Susan Porter (Evy) of Campbellton. As well, fifteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews - all well loved!

She is survived by one sister Marketa of Ottawa.

Besides her parents, James and Marg Sansom, she was predeceased by her husband Bussie (Raymond) Wood and her first husband Ronald Alexander - also, two brothers , Buzz Sansom and Bob Sansom and her youngest sister Joyce Target.

The family expresses special thanks to Dr. MacMillan and palliative care staff for all kindness and compassion and a special thank you to Debbie Maisey, a special friend always ready to help in any way.

Much appreciation for all support, food, flowers, donations, visits, cards , and all other expressions of sympathy. Sincere thank you.
Arrangements were entrusted to Savoie’s Funeral Home here in Campbellton - genuine, professional, and highly recommended.
