Obituary for Helen M.M. Buckley

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Helen Margaret Mabel (Fetter) Buckley announces her passing, which occurred on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Home. Born on July 5, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Olive (Allen) Fetter.

Helen is survived by her children William Buckley (Sue) and Catherine O’Reilly (Dan); brother Nicholas Fetter (Jane); cousin Yvonne Simpson; grandchildren Catherine Buckley (Trevor), William Buckley, Alexander Buckley (Rachel), Cullen O’Reilly, and Jennifer Greene (Mike); great-grandchildren Rhys, Brooks, and Maddox Meier as well as several nieces and nephews.

Aside from her parents, Helen is predeceased by her husband Patrick Buckley; sisters Jean Low, Joan Smith, and Betty Morrison.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). As per Helen’s request, there will be no visitation, a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from Grace Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at a later date in Milton, Ontario.

Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NB or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Online condolences can be made at www.BrenansFH.com.
