Obituary for Jeannette Gould

1943 - 2019

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannette (Janet) Gould, on Friday, November 8th, 2019 after a brave battle against ALS.
She will be missed by her loving husband of 51 years, Gerald (Gerry) Gould; her son, Chris (Julie); her daughter, Tania; her grandson, Alexandre and her fur grandchildren: Cheeko, Zoé and Ben. She was the second “Mimi” to two very special girls: Jorja and Jersie. She was the middle child of the Hébert Clan; survived by “The Sisters”: Corinne, twin Jeanita, Lucille, Rachel (Ratch) and by brothers: Paul (Ti-Paul) and twin brothers: Donald and Ronald (Joe), as well as several much loved nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Janet was predeceased by her first son, Dax; parents: Emile and Sadie (Bourgeois) Hébert and brother, Élie (Tilly) Hébert.
She lived her life as she wanted to simple, lovingly, faithfully and giving. She loved biking, walking and being with her family, “The Sisters” and friends. She never thought twice about helping someone in need.
Gerry, Chris and Tania would like to thank their families and friends for their love and support.
A very special thank-you to her physicians: Dr. Colleen O’Connell and Dr. Manon Belliveau, the MCH ICU staff and her Blanche-Bourgeois Extra-Mural team, for all the kind caring provided.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the ALS Society of Canada (NB or NS Chapters) or by having a mass said in her name.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, 457 Acadie Avenue, Dieppe, on Thursday, November 14th, 2019 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901).
