Obituary for Doris Carrier

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Theresa Cecilia Carrier who passed away peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital on November 8th, 2019. Born on August 19, 1932, in St. Stephen N.B., Doris leaves behind her loving husband, Lorenzo.

In addition to her husband, Doris will be greatly missed by her children, Elaine Tracey (Gary), Harvey Belliveau, Jerry Belliveau (Debbie), Bernadette Berwick (John); grandsons, Jason Belliveau (Tanya), Tanner Belliveau, Tyler Belliveau, Travis Belliveau; granddaughter, Melanie Worrall; many great-grandchildren, with Summer and Blaze holding a special place in her heart; Her great-great-grandson, Calem; as well as sisters, Kathleen and Lorraine (Ronnie).

Doris is predeceased by her first husband, Dosithe Belliveau.

Doris took great pride in taking care of children in her career as a nanny. She has touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Some of her favourite past times were playing bingo, travelling, and playing cards.

A special thank you to the staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital as well as the Oromocto Public Hospital for the care and dedication they gave to Doris during her stay.

There will be no visitation as per Doris’s request. A memorial mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 11 am with Fr. Charles Udeh as celebrant. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Society. Online condolences may be made online at www.oromoctofh.com
