Obituary for Ohmer McQuade

At Hotel-Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital, Perth-Andover, November 9, 2019, Mr. Ohmer McQuade of Medford passed away at the age of 91. He was the widower of Lucy Marie (Gallant) McQuade. Born at Tilley in 1927, he was a son of the late Francis Leo and Martha (Bowmaster) McQuade.

He is survived by six children, Linda of Quispamsis, Alvin (Sommai) of Slave Lake, Alberta, Judy and Janet of Quispamsis, Gary (Diana) of Medford and Terry (Marjorie) of Beaverlodge, Alberta, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Wanda McLaughlin of Pembroke, Ontario, as well as nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by an infant son Gary, sisters, Ruth McLaughlin and Ida Cassista and brother, Lorne.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Wednesday, November 13th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. His funeral service will be held Thursday, November 14th at 11 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Tilley with Father Curtis Sappier and Father Gilbert Doddatto officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

For those who wish, donations to St. Joseph's Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family. www.oregans.ca
