Obituary for Thelma Williams

Thelma D. Williams, 76, of Monarch Hall, Riverview, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, November 25, 2019. Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lida (Kinney) Brooks.

Thelma was employed at the T. Eaton Co. Ltd. in the Payroll Department and at The Moncton Hospital. She attended Moncton First Church of the Nazarene.

Thelma will be sadly missed by her husband, Eugene Williams; stepchildren, Kenneth Williams of Edmonton, AB and Shirley Levesque (Robert) of Woodstock; grandchildren, Jason, David, Allyson, Ashley and Samantha; great grandchildren, Aimee-Lee, Zachary, Tyler, Danielle, Marcus, Analeise and Pharroh; sisters, Geraldine Walsh (Richard) and Rowena Brooks (Peter MacDonald), as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Marion Hathaway and stepson, Leif Williams.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour Thelma’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Patti Rossiter officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.

In memory of Thelma, donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation or Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated. Online condolences for the family may be shared on Fergusons Funeral Home Facebook page or at www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
