Obituary for Denise Goguen

1965 - 2019
Denise Goguen, 54, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday, November 24th, 2019 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jean (Jackie) and the late Anita (née: Gallant) LeBlanc.

Denise made many smile during her time working at L’Auberge du Soleil and Residence Moncton.

She is survived by her daughter, Astrée Goguen of Moncton; her sisters: Giselle (Allan) Colepaugh of Riverview and Monique LeBlanc of Victoria, BC; her brother, Ronald (Natalie) LeBlanc of Moncton; two nieces: Jenna and Kaley. She will be dearly missed by her aunt May and uncle Gus who were like parents to her; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her son, Rémi in 2018 and her maternal grand-parents, Félix and Thérèse Gallant, with whom she was very close.

Visitation will be held at the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901), on Friday from noon until time of service at 2 pm. A Celebration of life will be held at the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 29th, 2019 at 2 pm. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.

Donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

A special thank you to Dr. Adams who gave the family a mother/sister/niece for an extra 15 years. Thank you to the rest of her team including Dr. Whitlock, Dr. Mansfield (Willow) and the nursing staff of the neurology and palliative care units at the Moncton Hospital for the excellent care given to Denise. www.chartersville.com
