Obituary for Ronald MacGorman

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ronald William MacGorman, husband of Yvonne (Graham), announces his passing which occurred on December 2, 2019 in Quispamsis, NB. Ron was born on May 1, 1947 and was the son of the late Clinton and Evelyn (Northrup) MacGorman.

During his working life Ron was a Millwright and worked for Irving Paper. He also spent time serving in the Canadian Armed Forces as a member of the R.E.M.E. Corps and was especially proud of his service with the 2nd Canadian Guards based in Petawawa, Ontario.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne; his son Ronald “Glen” MacGorman of Quispamsis; his daughter Shannon MacGorman of Quispamsis; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Malcolm and Clinton MacGorman, as well as his sister-in-law, Barb.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Rd, Quispamsis (849-2119), with visitation taking place on Thursday, December 5, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In keeping with Ron’s wishes a private family service will take place at a later date.
