Roy passed away at the age of 76, with his wife and daughters by his side. Born on November 1, 1943 in Sackville, NB, he was the son of the late Norma Eileen (Kaye) and Frank Emery Taber.

Roy loved to be outside and enjoyed hunting in his younger years. He enjoyed his job trucking, spending many hours on the road driving. Roy was very sociable, was kind to everyone even if they were strangers and most importantly, he dearly loved his family.

Roy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn Doris (Reid) Taber; his daughters, Tina Taber and Tanya Snowdon; his brother, Herb (Lois) Taber; his niece, Tabatha (Gary) Newman; his grandchildren, Ashley Taber (Cory Sears), Shyanne Taber (Jermaine Hicks) and Alan Snowdon (Jayde Roche); his great–grandchildren, Jacob, Damen and Peyton Sears, Bella, Maya and Dakota Taber–Hicks.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by several other extended family members.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364–8188. Roy’s family wishes to invite you to celebrate his life on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.

If so desired, donations in memory of Roy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of one’s choice.
