Obituary for Frank Campbell

Frank M. Campbell, 93, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Monday, December 2, 2019. Born in Sunny Brae, he was the son of the late William and Nancy (Ward) Campbell.

Frank was a former Executive Director with the NB Department of Transportation and attended Sunny Brae Baptist Church. An avid golfer, Frank enjoyed reading, puzzles and word searches, boating, RV’ing, playing horseshoes and spending time with his family.

Frank will be sadly missed by his wife of over 70 years, Gladys (Mann) Campbell; daughters, Kelli Asselin (Jamie) of Ontario and Lisa Guignard (Marc) of Bathurst; grandchildren, Kyle, Kori, Eric and Andrew. Frank was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Mary, Florence, Annie, Hazel, Nancy and Bessie and by brothers, Ken, Leonard and Bill.

A Service to celebrate and honour Frank’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Colin Cook officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.

In memory of Frank, donations to Camp Wildwood, Sunny Brae Baptist Church Building Fund or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Online condolences for the family may be shared on Fergusons Funeral Home Facebook page or at www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
