Obituary for Edgar LeBlanc

Edgar LeBlanc, 75, of Shediac, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Villa Providence of Shediac. Born on May 24, 1944 in Ohio du Barachois, he was the son of the late Yvon and Julienne (Doiron) LeBlanc.

Prior to his retirement, Edgar worked in construction as a carpenter and more recently for Royal Doors. He loved cutting wood and the outdoors.

He is survived by his children: Wayne (Cecile Landry) of Dieppe, Nicole (Donny Cameron) of Shediac and Mike (Lyne) of Grand-Barachois; three siblings: Gloria Robichaud (Ronald) and Eric (Marlene) both of Shediac and Guy (Hélène) of Rimouski; five grandchildren: Brandon, Jacob, Matéo, Alyssa and Thierry; mother of his children, Jeannine Breau, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Jeannette and a brother, Philippe.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac from where the funeral will be celebrated on Friday, December 6 at 11 am. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 10 am until the time of funeral. Interment will be in St-Joseph parish cemetery, Shediac.

In memory of Edgar, a contribution to the Parkinson Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, (532-3297) Shediac. Words of comfort and online condolences may be forwarded through our website at: www.frenettefuneralhome.com
