Obituary for Lois Thompson

1934 – 2019
Lois N. Thompson of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Born in Chatham Head, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Annie (Buchanan) Watters.

In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and knitting as well as a good murder mystery book and she was a former volunteer at The Moncton Hospital.

She will be truly missed by her family, daughters; Cindy Grummisch (Eric) and Joni Weston (Leonard), sons; Allen (Cathy) and Chris (Kate), 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Roy in 2017, sisters; Marjorie McLaughlin and Doris Macumber, brothers; Doug, Burton and Allison.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869–2007) on Monday from 6 to 8 PM. A service celebrating her life will take from Cobb’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 11 AM. The interment will take place at Fair Haven Cemetery.
