Jean worked on many large construction projects throughout North America settling in Saint John, New Brunswick where he spent the last 17 working years as a proud member of Local 213 (UA) at the Saint John Frigate Program. Jean was an avid reader and enjoyed volunteering at the Assumption breakfasts. He was also a member of Council 6770 of the Knights of Columbus.

Jean leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Suzanne (Gingras), son Stéphane (Susan Jack) along with siblings Cecile, Doris, Conrad, Geraldine, Blandine, and Marielle as well as sister-in-laws Lisette Rousseau and Micheline Labrie along with many other in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation being held on Friday, December 13th from 9:30 to 11a.m, followed by a memorial service in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
