Obituary for Philippe Doiron

It’s with great sadness that the family of Philippe Doiron, 75, of Shediac, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at his residence. Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Arthur and Marie (Robichaud) Doiron.

He will be sadly missed by his spouse, Cécilia Léger; two children: Nathalie Légère (Marc-André) of Moncton and Michel (Jennifer) of Dieppe; two step-children: Wayne Léger (Jackie) and Jo-Ann Léger (Richard Boucher) all of Moncton; one sister, Bella Skweir (Michael) of Allentown, PA, USA; one sister-in-law, Sharon Doiron of Milton, ON; five grandchildren: Alexia, Maxime, Annie, Jordan and Jasmine, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by a brother, Raymond Doiron.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 3986 Main Street, Shediac from where the funeral will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 11 at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 1 pm until time of funeral. Interment will be in St-Joseph Parish Cemetery in Shediac.

In memory of Philippe, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.

Cremation and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, (532-3297) Shediac. Words of comfort and online condolences may be forwarded through our website at: www.frenettefuneralhome.com
