Obituary for Albert Lagacy

1952 – 2019
It is with great sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Albert "Babe Lagatt" Lagacy, 67, of Nigadoo, which occurred Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Joseph and Cecile (Godin) Lagacy.

Albert worked most of his life in the mining industry.

Besides his wife, Gilberte Boudreau, he is survived by two children: Shelly Kinney (Kirk) of Moncton and Mark Lagacy (Tricia) of Bathurst. Two step-children: Nathalie Cyr of Nigadoo and Kevin Cyr of Guam, USA. Four grandchildren whom he adored: Anna, Kate, Jack and Thomas. Two sisters: Anne-Marie Deschênes (Jean-Claude) of Edmunston and Jacqueline Frenette of Beresford. Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers: Aurèle "Zan", Roger and Clovis.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford, from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 4 p.m. at St-Polycarpe Church, Petit-Rocher.

Donations in memory of Albert, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
