Obituary for Beulah Caunter

Mrs. Beulah “Dorothy” Caunter of Sussex passed away on December 10, 2019 at the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Alveretta (Clark) McLean. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She will live on in the hearts of her daughters: Diane Snow and Lois King (Tim); her daughter–in–law, Sylvia Harvey; her step children: Stephen Caunter (Lynn), Brian Caunter (Lucie) and Terry Caunter (Dianne); as well as several grandchildren, step grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband, Gordon Harvey; her second husband, Ellery Caunter; her son, Gordon Harvey Jr.; her brothers: Charlie, George, Sheldon, Spurgeon, Levi, Angus and Otty McLean and by her sisters: Beatrice Gowan, Hazel Williams, Sylvia Crawford and Blanche Williams.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506–433–1176) from where visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 3 to 5pm. A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held from Sussex Wesleyan Church on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 2pm.

If you are considering making a memorial donation in memory of Dorothy, the family has requested the Alzheimer’s Society, Sussex Wesleyan Church (Encounter Church) or the charity of your choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com
