Obituary for Jessie Wylie

Jessie Wylie, 81, of Colpitts Settlement, within the comforts of her home and surrounded by the love of her family, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2019. Born in Kent Junction, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Carrie (Stewart) Wilson.

Jessie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed gardening in her vegetable and flower beds, loved Christmas and took great pride in decorating around the house. Her door was always open for family and friends, as she took great pride in taking care of her family and tending to their needs.

Jessie will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 65 years, Clarence Wylie; children, John Wylie (Susan), Wayne Wylie (Alicia), Philip Wylie, Patsy Wylie, Annette Leet and Betsy Wylie (Kris); grandchildren, Monica, Nathan, Stuart, Sarah, Rebecca, Clarice, Aaron, Edward, Erik, Dawson, Spencer, Jacob, Rachel and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Dominic, Dylan, Darren, Aria, Xavier, Ayden, Blake, Bentley, Brinley, Brendan, Logan, MacKenzie, Mirabelle and Noah; sisters, Jean Cross (Gord), Lorna Nelson (Blair), Phyllis Simpson and Ferne LeBlanc (Bernie); brothers, Tony Wilson (Sharon) and James Wilson (Joann) and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughters, Brenda, Wanda, Donna and Lynn; brothers, Herbie, Horace, Gordon and Angus; sisters Hilda and Bernice; son–in–law, Edward.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at 3400 at The Moncton Hospital for the compassion and care given to Jessie during her stay. The family would also like to thank Driscoll Extra Mural, especially nurse, Sophie.

Private family service to be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kent Junction at a later date. Arrangements under the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995).

In memory of Jessie, donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated. Online condolences for the family may be shared on Fergusons Funeral Home Facebook page or at www.fergusonsfuneralhome.com
