Obituary for Edna Boucher

1927 – 2019
Bathurst – It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Edna Boucher, wife of the late Henry Maynard Boucher, announce her passing which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Saturday December 14, 2019 at the age of 92. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of late Michael and Winnifred (Larocque) Lavigne.

She worked many years for Canada Post in Scarborough, Ontario until her retirement.

She is survived by one sister Lorraine (Joseph) Loyal of Scarborough, ON. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by one sister Margaret Provest and one brother Aurele Lavigne.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, December 20, 2019 at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church.

Donations in memory of Edna may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
