Obituary for Marguerite Brown

On December 26, 2019 while surrounded by all nine of her loving children, Mrs. Marguerite Ann "Peggy" Brown of Sussex passed away on December 26, 2019 at the age of 94 to be reunited with the love of her life, George.



Peggy will live on in the hearts of her children: Ronnie Brown (Barb), Marsha Burgess (Earle), Ruth Brown, Russell Brown (Sue), Walter Brown (Donna Hopper), Donnie Brown (Joy), Martha Thompson (Manny), Maryellen Gaunce (Gary), Joan Brown (Margaret McCarthy); her brother, Raymond Monahan; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; expecting one great–great grandson; as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins.



Along with her husband, Peggy was predeceased by her parents: Ambrose and Katherine (Durham) Monahan; her brothers: Leonard Monahan, Ambrose Monahan, and William (Bill) Monahan and by her sisters: Kathleen Cummings, Mary Ellen (Nellie) Hourihan, Irene Monahan and Grace Mercer.



Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506–433–1176) where visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm.



A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Peggy's life will be held from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 11:00am.



If you are considering making a memorial donation the family has recommended the Kiwanis Nursing Home, St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or to the charity of the Donor's Choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com
