Obituary for Rev. Everett Corcoran

1932 – 2019
The death of Rev. Everett John Corcoran of Perth–Andover, NB, occurred on December 27, 2019 at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital. He was the eldest son of Henry and Helen (Daye) Corcoran.

Everett was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Lois (Hanscom) whom he married in 1955. He was a special dad to his two daughters, Ardith (Scott) Bowerman and Esther (Llewellyn) Cote. He is also survived by four brothers, Wade, Hank, Tom, and Ben. He is also survived by five sisters, Betty, Ellen, Linda, Gail, and Edith.

He was a loving grandfather to Marilyn, April, Virginia, Amanda, Jonathan, and Devon. Step–grandchildren Steven and Adam, great grandchildren Alexis, Drake, Raven, Colby, Logan, Joshua, Zoe, William, Chloe, Jersey, Shelby, and Keira. Step–grandchildren, Emma, Mya, and Seth.

Reverend Everett Corcoran became an Apostolic Christian when he repented of his sins in April, 1951, was baptized in Jesus' Name by his Pastor, Rev. W.J. Rolston, and received the Holy Spirit on August 17, 1951. It was the first time that he received a Missionary call to minister in India. He became ill with tuberculosis and spent nine months in hospital. He was miraculously healed of this disease. He began his long lifetime Ministry in 1956 and became a fulltime Pastor in New Denmark and pastored there until 1962. From New Denmark, Everett and his wife Lois travelled to Corner Brook, Newfoundland to begin forming an new church. They remained in Newfoundland until 1966. They then went to Stockton, California to Western Apostolic Bible School and remained there until 1970.
