Obituary for Adélia Doyle

It is with much sadness that we, the family of Adélia (Bélanger) Doyle, announce her passing on January 2nd, 2020 at the Villa Renaissance in Dalhousie at the age of 91. Born in Caplan, QC on September 5th, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Marie Bujold and Clarence Bélanger and wife of predeceased, Arthur Doyle.

Her joys in life included her children; a son, Jimmy (Leona) Doyle of Campbellton, and daughters Marilyn (Alex) MacDonald of Dalhousie and Cora (Denis Allain) Doyle of Moncton; also six grandchildren, Kevin, Adam, Evan, Kim, Guillaume and Pierre-Luc and seven great-grandchildren, Aaron, Jacob, Ethan, Ben, Talia, Dax and Ella. She also leaves behind her brother Robert (Corinne) Bélanger and sister Denise Bourdages as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Mona, brother Réal, and sister, Emérilda.

Mom had a quick mind right keeping us on our toes right till the end. She was an amazing homemaker and seamstress and was blessed to have had 91 full years and it is these memories that we will hold dear in our hearts forever.

Visitations will be on Friday, January 10th 2019 from 2 to 4 pm followed by the service at Maher’s Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton at 4 pm.

We would like to thank all the staff at the Villa Renaissance in Dalhousie who gave Adelia the best care ever and treated her as their own mom and friend. She spent her last six months there and we are so grateful for the care she received there.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton. (506) 789-1699 or toll free (855) 404-1699 email: maher.fh@nb.aibn.com
