Obituary for Gérard Thibodeau

1933-2020
Gérard Thibodeau, 86, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges-L-Dumont UHC, on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. He was married to the late Eva (Cormier) Thibodeau. Born in Richiboucto-Village, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Exzillia (Richard) Thibodeau.

Gérard was a carpenter by trade.

He will be sadly missed by his children; Thérèse Richard (Ronald) of Girouardville, Aurella Cormier (Laurie) of Saint-Lazarre, Irene Caissie, Andréa Thibodeau (late Pierre), Odette Thibodeau, all of Bouctouche, Normand (Phyllis) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his special friend, Fernande LeBlanc, his brothers; Hervé of Rexton, Aldéo (Pauline) of Saint-Thomas, Normand of Bouctouche and several nieces and nephews.

Gérard was predeceased by a son, Robert and his wife Denise and three sisters; Germaine, Yvonne and Lucille.

Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche, on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 2 to 4pm. A private service will be held at a later date.

In Gérard’s memory a donation can be made to CHUDUMONT foundation.
