Obituary for Floyd Wilson

1930 - 2020
Floyd A. Wilson, 89, of Pine Glen, NB passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Lewisville; he was the son of the late Mabel Wilson.

He was employed with the CNR Section Crew retiring in 1987 with 31 years' service. Floyd was a hard worker, he loved carpentry, and with his "don't tell me it can't be done attitude", there was absolutely no build or problem that could not be fixed. Floyd also enjoyed being outside, either hunting, fishing or working in the garden. However Floyd's greatest love, spending time with his family, his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his four children: Gary (Joyce) of Pine Glen, Judith (the late Arnold) Cornish of Killarney, MB, Kelly (Chris) Steeves of Pine Glen and Jeffery (Michelle) of Riverview; grandchildren, Ross (Cindy), Vicky (the late Brent), Jason (Jen), Ashley (Jarrett), Derrick, Erick and Zachary; great-grandchildren Xavier, Tanner and Tessa; sister, Evelyn Williston; sister-in-law; Shirley (the late Wilfred) all of Moncton as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother he was predeceased by his wife, Marion in 2011, his infant son, Floyd and grand-daughter, Sara Wilson.

Resting at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with visitation on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 11:00am with Pastors Jim Eagles and Kevin Mahoney officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.

Donations in Floyd's memory made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Bethel Baptist church would be appreciated by his family.
