Obituary for Alma Robichaud

(1935 – 2020)
Rogersville – At the Miramichi regional hospital, on Saturday, January 11th, 2020, at the age of 84, passed away Alma Robichaud, wife of Guillaume ‘Willie’ Robichaud. She was living in Rogersville. Born on February 14th, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Actua Collette and of the late Marie Belliveau.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons: Claude (Karen) of Moncton and Gilles (Claudette) of Dieppe; her brothers and sisters : Emile (Viola) of Oromocto, Sr Adela, Anita (the late Prémélite) both of Moncton, Gérald (the late Lina) of Coal Branch, Alfred (Anita) of Leominster, Mass, Catherine (Édouard) of St-Antoine, Ida Bourque of Souderton, PA, and Ulysse (May) of Riverview; four grandchildren: Monyse, Janelle, Marc-André and Josée, as well as many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Robichaud family, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

One son, Francis (1996) at the age of 31; one sister, Alvina (Donald), and one brother, Eric (Jeannette).

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at salon ‘La Colombe’, 11325, hwy 126, Rogersville, on Thursday, January 16th, 2020, at 7pm. The funerals will be celebrated at Saint-François-de-Sales Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville on Friday, January 17th, 2020, at 11:30am. Visitations hours: Thursday, January 16th from 7pm to 9pm. There will be no visitations before the funerals.

Alma was a teaching assistant at the W.F.-Boisvert school in Rogersville for several years. She also volunteered for several parish organizations. She was a member of the Dames Auxiliaires, Branch # 38 and of the Rogersville club d’ ge d’Or.

She was a good mother for her children and grandchildren whom she loved very much.

Special thanks to the staff of the Miramichi Hospital for the good care during her stay with them.

A donation can be made to the Foyer Assomption of Rogersville for the palliative care unit.
