Obituary for Glendon Orr

It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Glendon W. Orr of Ludlow, NB on January 11th, 2020, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. He was 60 years old. Born in St. Stephen, NB he was the son of Carolyn Orr (nee Doughty) (Karsten Jorgensen) and the Late Gerald Orr.

Glendon was an avid outdoorsman, he loved spending time hunting, fishing, snowshoeing, wheeling and sledding. A jack of all trades, there wasn’t much he couldn’t fix. He took pride in everything he owned and did, being diligent in every aspect of his life and career. A work ethic that could rarely be matched. Glendon was an animal lover, he adored his dogs and enjoyed feeding the birds and deer in his backyard.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Paulette Orr, his children; Josh Orr (Michelle), Katie Orr (John Barrie), Dustin Paul (Suzie Arseneau), Lynzie LaPorte (Corey Duggin) and Colby LaPorte, grandchildren; Kate, Noah, Wyatt, Brynn and Laurynn, His eldest sister; Debbie Beauchamp (Clement), his Irish Twin Kathy Johnson (Gerald) and sisters Pamela Atwood and Heather Lord, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

By request there will be no visitation. All are welcomed to a celebration of life on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at 2 PM from Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Rd. Fredericton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Neurological department at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
