Obituary for Leonard Hebert

Leonard J. Hebert, 63, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, January 10, 2020. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Anita (LeBlanc) VanBuskirk and the late Eli Hebert.

Leonard was a former employee of the Times & Transcript and volunteer with several organizations, including the Salvation Army, CNIB and local food banks.

In addition to his mother, he will be sadly missed by sisters and brothers, Louise LeBlanc (Roland), Emery Hebert (Lisa), Aline Venus (Ron) and Jerry Hebert (Dany), as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Leonard was predeceased by his father, Eli, and stepfather, Doug VanBuskirk.

A Service to celebrate and honour Leonard’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 11:00 am, with The Rev. Charles Broderick presiding. Visitation hours from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
