Obituary for Excy Burgess

The passing of Excy Darlene Burgess of Keswick, NB, wife of the late Theodore Burgess, occurred on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at York Care Centre. Born on July 25, 1924 in Devon, NB she was the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Staples) Elliott.

Excy retired from Dunphy Poultry Farm. She was a member of Keswick Baptist Church.

Excy is survived by daughter, Esther Jewett (Bill) of Keswick, NB; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Bonnie Burke; son, Robert William; sister, Betty Hawkins; brothers, Kermit, Wilfred, Fenton and Marshall Elliott.

A Private Graveside Service will take place in Keswick Cemetery, Keswick, NB in the spring.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to York Care Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
