Obituary for Yvon Girouard

1937 – 2020
Yvon Girouard, 82, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the HUC Dr Georges-L. Dumont, Moncton. He was married to Antoinette (Léger) Girouard. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Yvonne Girouard.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Antoinette, his four children; Linda Girouard (Steve Maillet) of Saint-Antoine, Paul (Monique) of Irishtown, Ronald (Susan) of Saint-Antoine, Fernand (Joanne) of Dixon Point, his six grandchildren; Corey, Jeremy, Serge, Mario, Luc and Samuel as well as several nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by one sister Marie.

Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Antoine Church on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.

In Yvon’s memory, donations may be made to the CHU DUMONT Foundation.
