Obituary for Prescille Boudreau

Prescille Boudreau, 90, of Shediac formerly of Boudreau-Ouest, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the O Bon Soins, Shediac. Born in Boudreau-Office, she was the daughter of the late Cécime and Élise (Boudreau) Boudreau.

Before her retirement, she worked in the cafeteria at Louis-J.-Robichaud high school. She was also a member of the “Institut féminin” and “Légion de Marie”.

She is survived by her two daughters: Émilie Léger (Daniel) of Cape-de-Cocagne and Pauline Cormier (Antoine) of Boudreau-Ouest; two sisters: Irène Boudreau and Sara Boudreau both of Shediac, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Émile Boudreau (2010); eight siblings: Délina Boudreau, Flora Boudreau, Willie, Jacob, Ulysse, Euclide, Robert and Ola.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 9:45 am until time of departure (10:45 am). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Friday, January 31 at 11 am. Interment will be in St-Joseph Cemetery, Shediac.

We would like to thank the staff of the Residence O Bon Soins and Extra-Mural nurses for the wonderful care that our mother received.

In memory of Prescille, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or to the Parkinson Society of Canada would be appreciated.
