Obituary for Kenneth McConchie

With broken hearts, we announce the unexpected death of Kenneth Lavern McConchie, of Norton, which occurred on Friday, February 7, 2020. Ken was the husband of Mary Theresa (McQuinn) McConchie. He was born January 5, 1954, in Sussex NB, the son of the late Lavern and Ethel (Price) McConchie.

Ken is survived by his wife Mary Theresa; children: Jane McConchie Payne and her husband Jeff, Joel and his wife Julie, John and his wife Joanna Vlamakis, Jake and his fiancée Hilary Sharp; grandchildren: Lucas, Gracein, Adele, Connell, Caroline, Lila, Vassili, Levi and Audrey; brother Larry (Carol) McConchie of Norton; sister Jean (Bill) Chestnut of Sussex; brother-in-law Shaun (Laura) McQuinn; sisters-in-law: Anne (Bob) Blanchard, Margaret (Gene) Aiton, Monica (Peter) MacWilliam; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday, February 11, 2020 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 PM. The Funeral service will be held at the Norton Wesleyan Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM.

Donations in memory of Ken can be made to Hampton PRO Kids, the Belleisle Community Pool or to the memorial of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made through SherwoodsFuneralHome.com.
