Obituary for Foster McLellan

Foster St Clair McLellan, 85, only son of the late Albert and Rhoda McLellan, Amherst, NS.

Sadly missed by his wife of 67 years, Annie Mae (Canavan) McLellan, their three daughters, Anne Austin, Barb (Brian) Estabrooks, Nancy Vernon and son, David (Jewel) McLellan.

Foster was in the Air Force, a licensed mechanic and drove transport truck. He owned a variety of cars in his lifetime.

He is survived by two sisters, Joyce and Francis, a half-sister, Madelyn, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters, Rose, Jessie and Ruth.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst, 902-667-9906. There will be no visitation and no funeral held. Burial will take place at a later date in the Amherst Cemetery.
