Obituary for Louise Samms

It is with sadness that the family of Louise Samms announce her passing on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on March 30, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Loran and Zella (Porter) Downey.

In addition to her parents, Louise was predeceased by her sister Barbara; her brother Robert; her step-sisters Marion and Jean; and her step-brothers Perley and Donald.

Louise will be missed by her husband of 58 years, Larry; her daughter Lisa; her son David (Joanne); her grandson Matthew; her sister Brenda (Dale) of Virginia, USA; her brothers Kenneth (Shirley) of St. Stephen and Richard of Oakville ON, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A committal service will take place later this year at the Oromocto Pioneer Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be made at www.mcadamsfh.com.
