Obituary for Elsie Tremblay

1938 - 2020
Elsie Louise Tremblay, 81, formerly of Irishtown, passed away on Monday February 10, 2020 at the Grass Home in Riverview. Born on February 26, 1938 in Escuminac, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ivy (Williston) Jimmo.

Elsie was a former employee of the Government of Canada DSS offices in Shediac.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Roland “Jim”; two children: Kelly Tremblay (Brad Donnelly) and Jeff Tremblay (Sherie); one brother, Elmo Jimmo (Ninon); six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, as well as his nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one brother, Keith (Gail).

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards the staff of the Grass Home for the wonderful care provided to Elsie.

In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral centre. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Lawrence O’Toole R.C. Church, 2340 Route 115, Irishtown, Thursday February 13 at 11 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, in memory of Elsie, a contribution to St. Lawrence O’Toole parish would be appreciated. Words of comfort and donations may be made at www.frenettefuneralhome.com
