Obituary for Mary McCordick

Miss Mary E. McCordick, December 21, 2019, after an extended period of failing health in San Francisco, CA, USA. Mary was born August 24, 1928, Woodstock, NB to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCordick.

After living in Fredericton, and later Vancouver, BC, she finally settled in San Francisco, CA where she was employed until her retirement as legal secretary by Richard Guggenhime. Mary enjoyed her travels of the world, but mostly her annual travels home to Fredericton, where she shared her many stories of travel with her many friends and family. Mary was always dressed beautifully for any occasion and never forgot a birthday, anniversary or special event, and many looked forward to receiving gifts which will be cherished for years to come.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Predeceased by sisters, Dorothy, Phyllis and Jean, and brothers Charles, Robert and Roy, and lastly survived by a sister–in–law Mrs. Martha McCordick and ten nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place and as per her final wishes, her ashes have been scattered in the Pacific Ocean.
