Obituary for Pamela Melanson

1955 - 2020
Pam Melanson, 64 of Miramichi, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. Born on October 25, 1955 in Chatham. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Bernice (O'Reilly) Melanson.

Pam worked as a Health Care Provider at the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home until her retirement. Pam loved to immerse herself in a good book and to put her special affection onto all her fur babies she so loved to have around her.

Pam will be dearly missed by sisters Leah Smallwood (Carmen), Mary Grace Traer (Laurie) and her brother Rick Melanson (Rosemary). Her nieces Jeri, Charlotte, Jane, Riley, Sarah and Leanne along with six great-nieces and four great-nephews.

Pam is predeceased by her Father and Mother, her brother Jerry and infant sister Debra.

Visitations will be held at Maher's Funeral Home, 35 University Avenue, Miramichi, on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Michaels Roman Catholic Church, 10 Howard Street on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 11am. with interment in the Spring. Honorary pallbearers are: Patty Brennan, Cynthia Duplessie, Clara O’Connell, Lynn Ogilvie. The staff of the Miramichi Senior Citizens Home formed an Honor guard.

Donations in Pam's memory may be made to the S.P.C.A., the Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
