Obituary for John Walsh

Moncton, NB – John Walsh, 75, passed away peacefully at his residence “Faubourg du Mascaret” in Moncton, on Tuesday, February 11th, 2020, after a lengthy illness. Born in St. John’s, NL, he was the son of the late Michael Walsh and the late Ann Walsh (Roche).

John will be sadly missed by his son, Adam (Kaya) of St. John’s, NL; his good friend, former wife and mother of his son, Theresa Walsh of Moncton; his sister, Maureen Carter (Doug) and family of St. John’s, NL; his brother-in-law, Hugh Peden and family of Calgary, AB; his sister-in-law, Sandra Walsh and family of St. John’s, NL; his brother-in-law, Terry Stapleton (Margie) and family of Paradise, NL; also many friends in NL, NB and BC.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, David, Michael and Gerard and one sister, Eleanor.

As per John’s request, there will be no viewing or funeral. Cremation has already taken place in NB. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the St. Thomas RC Cemetery, Paradise, NL.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Parkinson Society would be greatly appreciated. The family invites you to sign an online book of condolences at: www.funerairepassagefuneral.ca.
