Obituary for Norma Johnstone

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Johnstone, age 80, of Fredericton. Norma died on February 11th, 2020 at the Hospice House in Fredericton.

Norma is survived by her sons, Brent, of New Maryland and Derrick of North Vancouver, British Columbia along with his wife Amy and children Maelle and Thomas who will miss their Nanny very much. Norma is also survived by her very close friends Julia and Brendan Bannister.

Norma was predeceased by Graham, her husband of 56 years, as well as her parents Marie and Peter Ramsay of Miramichi, New Brunswick.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their wonderful kindness and care.

At the family’s request there will be no visitation. A private service will be held at a later date.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Hospice Fredericton, the Chalmers Foundation, or a charity of one’s choice. Online condolences may be left at www.mcadamsfh.com
