Obituary for Marie Flora Morrell

A near life–long resident of Sandy Point Road, Saint John, left this life on February 12, 2020 at her residence, Rocmaura Nursing Home. Flo was predeceased by her husband, Ernie.

She is survived by her brother, Harvey Godin of Montreal; her three children; Country Morrell (friend June) of Saint John, Dan (Carol) Morrell of New Mexico and Carol (Doug) Gainforth of Quispamsis. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Heath, Waylon, Mark, Stephanie, Kristen, Robin and Seth; ten great–grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Flo was an awesome Mom and Grandmom and loved dearly. She and Ernie taught all their children and grandchildren the true morals of life and was very proud of each and every one of them.

Flo was a very hard worker at all her jobs during her life. As a committed Christian, her family was always her number one priority. Her family are forever grateful for her strong family bond and values that forged their lives.

A service of remembrance and thanks for her life will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634–7424) on February 22, 2020 at 12:00 Noon. No visitation to be held.

In lieu of flowers and for those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Rocmaura Foundation in Flo’s name for the care of Alzheimer and Dementia patients.
Sincere Family Thanks.
